Cercis canadensis 'Pink Pom Poms' PP27,630 is more commonly known as Pink Pom Poms Redbud. It is a spring flowering deciduous tree that features unique, fully double, pink flower clusters reminiscent of pom poms. Flowers emerge in early spring and are followed by large, heart-shaped green leaves. This cultivar does not produce seed pods.
Cercis canadensis 'Pink Pom Poms' thrive in full sun to part shade. It enjoys nutrient-rich, fertile, evenly moist, well-drained soils. If pruned, best to do it after flowering to avoid removing current season's flowers. Ideal as a specimen plant or shrub borders.
