The Lavender Twist® Redbud has a distinctive zigzagging trunk with contorted, arching branches that form an umbrella-like crown. Clusters of magenta buds open to rosy-pink flowers in early spring before the foliage appears. This small, weeping cultivar has heart-shaped leaves that emerge with red tinting, aging to green in summer and maturing to yellow in fall.
This showy spring bloomer is That Tree that turns everyone's head. Ideal as a specimen for patios or small gardens, the Lavender Twist® will surely attract not only pollinators but all the neighborhood attention.
