FASTIGIATE BLUE ATLAS CEDAR

Cedrus atlantica 'Fastigiata' is commonly referred to as Fastigiate Atlas Cedar. It is the narrow upright form of Atlas Cedar. It is a fast-growing, conical evergreen tree with a narrow crown and ascending branches. Vibrant silvery blue needles stay attractive throughout the year.

Fastigiate Atlas Cedar is deer resistant and low maintenance. It thrives in full sun in average, evenly moist, well-drained soils. It is ideal as a vertical focal point in the landscape.

Planting Tips

To help this plant settle in and thrive, we recommend these standard planting practices: Plant in well-draining soil with a slightly acidic pH. Water regularly, but avoid overwatering. Prune in late winter or early spring to maintain shape and promote healthy growth. Add a layer of organic mulch to retain moisture and suppress weeds.
