BIG AUREA GOLDEN CATALPA
The Big Aurea Golden Catalpa, also known as the Golden Indian Bean Tree or Golden Cigar Tree is a low-spreading, small, deciduous tree that has showy, large-heart-shaped, rich yellow velvety leaves through spring and summer. Large, fragrant, white panicle flowers appear two weeks later than Catalpa speciosa, usually in July.
The Big Aurea Golden Catalpa is easy to grow and thrives in full to part sun in moist, but well-drained fertile soils. The foliage alone makes this a must-have for gardens and parks.

To help this plant settle in and thrive, we recommend these standard planting practices: Plant it in a location with full sun to partial shade, and ensure good air circulation around the plant. Water regularly, but avoid overwatering, which can lead to root rot. Fertilize with a balanced, slow-release fertilizer in the spring, and mulch around the base to retain moisture and suppress weeds.
