BLUE MIST BLUEBEARD
Caryopteris clandonensis 'Blue Mist' is commonly referred to as Blue Mist Bluebeard or Blue Mist Caryopteris. It is a low-mounded, deciduous shrub and is noteworthy for its showy powder blue flowers in late summer into fall. They are great attractors for butterflies, bees and other beneficial pollinators. Its oval green leaves produce a nice aroma when brushed up against it.
The charming Blue Mist Caryopteris thrives in full sun in evenly moist, well-drained soils. It will not tolerate standing water. Once established, it will only need occasional watering. It is ideal for cottage and rustic gardens; any spot that needs late season color.
