The Fire King™ Hornbeam is also known as the Fire King™ Musclewood. This very hardy, fast growing, well-structured tree can be grown in full sun or part shade. Its leaves are small and dark green, and its canopy becomes more rounded with age. It has consistent orange-red fall color when grown in full sun and is tolerant of moist sites and mildly alkaline soils.
