FRANKLINS GEM KOREAN BOXWOOD
Buxus microphylla sinica var. insularis 'Franklin's Gem' is commonly referred to as Franklin's Gem Korean Boxwood or Franklin's Gem Japanese Boxwood. It is a low-spreading, very compact, mounding evergreen shrub with small, bright green leaves that age to olive green in late fall and winter. This deer resistant selection is considered to be the hardiest of boxwoods and can be sheared easily.
Franklin's Gem Boxwood thrives in full to partial sun in average, evenly moist, well-drained soils. It is ideal for mass plantings, borders, edging and topiary and container gardening.
