PUGSTER® PINKER® BUTTERFLY BUSH

Buddleia 'SMNBDB' PP33565 Proven Winners® ColorChoice® Pugster® Pinker® is commonly referred to as Pugster® Pinker® Butterfly Bush. This Proven Winners® ColorChoice® selection features larger, full-size pink flowers on a dwarf plant. The rich pink blooms with orange center eyes are non-stop from early summer through frost and attract bees, butterflies and other beneficial pollinators. Thick, sturdy stems and improved hardiness make this variety a winner.

Pugster® Pinker® Butterfly Bush thrives in full sun and average, well-drained soils. It is deer resistant and can be drought tolerant once established. Ideal for cottage and rustic gardens, foundation and border plantings.

Planting Tips

To help this plant settle in and thrive, we recommend these standard planting practices: Plant in fertile, well-draining soil, as this genus is particularly sensitive to root rot in water-logged conditions. Select a site with full sun, as maximum light exposure is critical for strong stem development and consistent flower production. Prune in early spring to remove dead wood and stimulate vigorous new growth, which ensures the plant remains compact and floriferous. Water regularly during the first growing season until established and consider deadheading throughout the summer to encourage a secondary flush of blooms.
