Bidens, also known as Beggarticks or Spanish Needles, are a group of annual flowering plants that bring cheerful color to the garden. They typically feature daisy-like flowers in shades of yellow, orange, and sometimes even pink or white. Their flowers attract bees, butterflies and other beneficial pollinators, providing continuous color throughout the growing season.
Bidens are known for their easy-going nature and ability to thrive in various conditions. They are relatively low-maintenance and can tolerate some drought, thriving in full sun in evenly moist, well-drained soil. Ideal for borders, containers and even as a groundcover.
