WHITE SATIN™ BIRCH

The White Satin Birch is also known as the Madison Birch. This beautiful birch is noteworthy for its satin-white bark. It is a fast growing cultivar that has a dense, upright, pyramidal habit. Its foliage is green and leathery and darkens as it matures. In fall it turns a golden yellow. It also has good resistance to the birch borer.

The White Satin Birch thrives in full or part sun and consistently moist, well-drained soils. It is perfect as a specimen plant and along borders.

Planting Tips

To help this plant settle in and thrive, we recommend these standard planting practices: Plant in well-draining soil with a slightly acidic pH. Water regularly, but avoid overwatering. Mulch around the base to retain moisture and suppress weeds. Prune in late winter or early spring to maintain shape and promote healthy growth.
