BETULA NIGRA
Grower Notes:

Betula nigra, also known as River Birch, is a very popular, fast-growing deciduous tree that thrives in moist areas. It can be a single trunk or a multi-stem tree. It has a pyramidal habit when young, becoming more rounded as it ages. Exfoliating cinnamon-cream bark gives this tree year round appeal. It has leathery, dark green leaves that turn yellow in fall. It is resistant to Bronze Birch Borer and will tolerate wet to flooded conditions as well as dry summer sites.
