ADMIRATION JAPANESE BARBERRY

Berberis 'Admiration' is an exceptional dwarf barberry that lives up to its name, demanding admiration with its stunning, multi-season appeal. In spring, leaves emerge in a showy shade of crimson, quickly deepening to a rich, glossy burgundy. As the seasons progress, each leaf is outlined by a striking golden-yellow margin, creating a unique contrast that sets this plant apart.

The Admiration Japanese Barberry is tolerant of slightly moist soils as long as they are well-drained - It will not tolerate standing water. Admiration enjoys full to part sun and is ideal for foundation or border plantings. Best color comes in full sun. It is the perfect choice for adding a pop of dramatic color to borders, rock gardens, or containers.
