PRAIRIEBLUES™ SOLAR FLARE FALSE INDIGO
Baptisia Prairieblues™ 'Solar Flare' PP20408 is commonly referred to as Prairieblues™ Solar Flare False Indigo. It is part of the Prairieblues™ series which exhibit not only unique colors, but extra large flower spikes and a vigorous habit. Solar Flare features tall spikes of pea-like blooms that open lemon yellow in mid to late spring, and then fade to deep orange as they mature. It has an upright, shrubby, vase-shaped habit and is both deer and rabbit resistant.
Solar Flare Baptisia is easy to grow and very long-lived. It thrives in full sun in average, well-drained soils. It works well in borders, foundation plantings or as a specimen.
