BAPTISIA ALBA
Grower Notes:

Baptisia alba is more commonly known as White Wild Indigo. It is an upright, shrubby perennial that features white, pea-like flowers in erect clusters on spikes up to 12 inches long. Green velvety, trifoliate leaves turn bluish gray to black in the fall. In fall, clusters of large, black seedpods often remain attached to the naked winter stems.

Baptisia Alba is deer resistant and thrives in full to partial sun in average, sandy, slightly acidic, well-drained soils. This easy to grow perennial is ideal in the back of borders or along foundations. They are very long-lived once established.
