Astilbe × arendsii Color Flash™ Lime PP17816 is commonly referred to as Color Flash™ Lime Astilbe or Color Flash™ False Spirea. It is part of the Color Flash™ series that features unique bright yellow mounds of ferny leaves that fade to chartreuse as the season progresses. Blush-pink plume flowers appear in midsummer.
Color Flash™ Lime Astilbe is deer and rabbit resistant and thrives in dappled sun or shade in organically rich, evenly moist, well-drained soils. Flowers are excellent for cutting and it is ideal for containers and dappled sun beds.
Companion plants for Astilbe include: Rhododendron, Hosta, Ferns, Heuchera, Ligularia and Japanese and Siberian Iris.
