VISON IN WHITE FALSE SPIREA


Astilbe chinensis 'Vision in White' PP18,965 is commonly referred to as Vision in White Chinese Astilbe or Vision in White False Spirea. This herbaceous perennial selection is part of the Vision series that features white conical plume flowers that grow on thick, sturdy stems and bloom later than other Astilbe. Foliage is deeply incised, mounding and bronze-green in color.

Vision in White Chinese Astilbe is robust and easy to grow. It is deer and rabbit resistant and thrives in dappled shade in organically rich, evenly moist, well-drained soils. It can be drought tolerant once established.

Companion plants for Astilbe include: Rhododendron, Carex, Hosta, Ferns, Heuchera, Ligularia and Japanese and Siberian Iris.
