BLUE WOODS ASTER
Aster cordifolius 'Woods Blue' is commonly referred to as Wood's Blue Aster. It is an excellent dwarf Aster which features a low growing, compact habit with dark green mildrew and rust resistant foliage and light blue daisy flowers with yellow centers from late summer to fall. Flowers attract bees, butterflies and other beneficial pollinators to the garden.
Wood's Blue Aster is easy to grow, stays neat and is low maintenance. It is deer and rabbit resistant and thrives in full sun in rich, fertile, evenly moist, well-drained soils. It is ideal in the front of borders to add late season color heading into fall.

To help this plant settle in and thrive, we recommend these standard planting practices: Plant in well-draining soil with full sun. Water regularly, but avoid overwatering. Mulch around the base to retain moisture and suppress weeds. Deadhead spent flowers to encourage more blooms.
