ALPINE WHITE ASTER
Aster alpinus 'X White' PPAF is commonly referred to as White Alpine Aster. This dense, compact, early-blooming selection has double, white, daisy-like flowers that appear in late spring and early summer. Each flower has a yellow center surrounded by white petals. They attract bees, butterflies and other beneficial pollinators. Foliage is dense, bright green, and has a low, mounding habit. If allowed to self-seed, it will produce successive generations.
White Alpine Aster is deer and rabbit resistant. It thrives in full to partial sun in rich, fertile, evenly moist, well-drained soils. It is perfect for front of the border plantings, rock gardens, mass plantings and containers.

To help this plant settle in and thrive, we recommend these standard planting practices: Plant in well-draining soil with full sun. Water regularly, but avoid overwatering. Deadhead spent flowers to encourage new blooms, and divide and replant every 3-4 years.
