EARLYBIRD™ BLUE AND WHITE COLUMBINE

Aquilegia 'Blue and White' is commonly referred to as EarlyBird™ Blue and White Columbine. This Proven Winners® EarlyBird™ series selection features beautiful upward facing bicolor flowers that have blue and white petals that appear from late spring to early-mid summer. Flowers attract bees, butterflies and other beneficial pollinators. Foliage is bluish green with a fern-like texture. It is a short-lived perennial, but will self-seed.

Blue and White Columbine are deer and rabbit resistant and thrives in partial sun in rich, fertile, evenly moist, well-drained soil. Avoid heavy or soggy soils as they prefer very well-drained soils. Ideal for beds, borders and dappled sun spots in the garden. Makes a great cut flower too!
