BIEDERMEIER BLUE BIRD COLUMBINE
Aquilegia 'Biedermeier' is commonly referred to as Biedermeier Columbine. This old-fashioned Columbine is the lowest growing variety yet, only 18 inches tall while in flower. This short, early bloomer features a beautiful display of blue, pink and white nodding flowers in early to late spring. Flowers attract bees, butterflies and hummingbirds and are self-seeding if not deadheaded.
Biedermeier Columbine is deer and rabbit resistant and thrives in full to partial shade in rich, fertile, evenly moist, well-drained soils. Perfect for perennial and cottage gardens. They look great in cut flower bouquets!
