BAUMANNII HORSECHESTNUT

The Baumanii Horsechestnut is an old, double-flowered selection that goes all the way back to 1819. It is noteworthy for its double white flowers that have red or yellow markings, their longer bloom time, and its zero fruit production. It also has a taller and more narrow habit than other cultivars. This beautiful landscape tree is ideal for parks and large yards. No seedpods mean easier cleanup.

Planting Tips

To help this plant settle in and thrive, we recommend these standard planting practices: Water it regularly, but avoid overwatering. Mulch around the base to retain moisture and suppress weeds.
