ROYAL RED NORWAY MAPLE

The Royal Red Norway Maple is a slow growing, deep maroon-purple Norway Maple with slightly more intense color than the Crimson King Norway Maple. It is noteworthy for its hardiness and its ability to hold its royal purple color through summer. The glossy, lobed leaves turn an even deeper purple in fall.

The Royal Red Norway Maple is a relatively low maintenance tree that needs to grow in full sunlight and should not be allowed to dry out. It tolerates air pollution and can thrive in urban environments. This is a well-shaped, symmetrical, shade tree with fantastic color. It will look great anywhere!

Planting Tips

To help this plant settle in and thrive, we recommend these standard planting practices: Plant in well-draining soil with a slightly acidic pH. Water regularly, but avoid overwatering. Mulch around the base to retain moisture and suppress weeds. Prune in late winter or early spring to maintain shape and promote healthy growth.
