The Oregon Sunset Japanese Maple is a compact, low maintenance, Japanese maple with a strong central leader on a more rounded form. Its soft red foliage in spring darkens to burgundy in summer. It matures in fall in shades of gold, orange and crimson.
Oregon Sunset thrives in full to part sun in moist, organic, well-drained soils. It will benefit from being planted in sheltered areas with a layer of mulch in winter for root protection.
