FIREGLOW JAPANESE MAPLE
The Fireglow Japanese Maple is a vigorous, upright Japanese Maple that is quite sun and heat tolerant and will perform well in the South and northern cooler climates.
Fireglow's spring foliage is an intense purple-red that retains its red color during the hot summer months. In autumn, foliage ages to a fiery red and crimson. It enjoys filtered sun in moist, rich, well-drained soils. The Fireglow does not grow as tall or as wide as the Bloodgood which makes it perfect for container plantings or small gardens. It can reach 6-10 feet in 10 years and matures at approximately 12 feet.

Mulch around the base to retain moisture and suppress weeds. Prune in late winter or early spring to maintain shape and promote healthy growth.
