ARIADNE JAPANESE MAPLE

The Ariadne Japanese Maple is named after the Greek Goddess Ariadne who was the mistress of the Labyrinth. This large and colorful Japanese Maple has deeply lobed, marbled, spring leaves that emerge orange and pink and then change to deep maroon in summer, maturing to orange with flaming red margins in fall. It is a brilliant color show that should not be missed!

The Ariadne Japanese Maple is easy to grow and thrives in moist, well-drained soil in partial sun. It is an upright grower and is perfect for areas that require a mid-size, attractive tree.

Planting Tips

To help this plant settle in and thrive, we recommend these standard planting practices: Plant in a location with full sun to partial shade, and well-draining acidic soil. Water regularly, but avoid overwatering. Mulch around the base to retain moisture and suppress weeds. Prune in late winter or early spring to maintain shape and promote healthy growth.
