ADRIANS COMPACT JAPANESE MAPLE

Acer palmatum 'Adrian's Compact' is commonly referred to as Adrian's Compact Japanese Maple. It is an upright red Japanese Maple with a dense compact habit. It reaches 6-7 feet tall with a spread of 3-4 feet. New growth in spring emerges pinkish red and turns rich burgundy through summer. In autumn foliage turns scarlet red and orange.

Adrian's Compact Japanese Maple thrives in full sun in cooler zones and partial sun in hotter climates. It enjoys organically rich, evenly moist, well-drained soils. It is a charming dwarf Japanese Maple that is ideal for smaller gardens.
