It produces striking, star-like flowers that display a beautiful contrast of deep, saturated purple petals accented by distinct white variegation, creating a unique, swirling appearance. With a mounding and trailing habit that generally stays under 10 inches in height while spreading up to 18 inches, it is perfectly suited for hanging baskets, combination planters, and as a ground-hugging filler in sunny beds.
Lanai® Twister™ Purple thrives in full sun to maintain its compact form and maximize bloom density. It enjoys well-draining, moderately fertile soil, as wet roots are the primary enemies of this genus. If you are using it in containers, ensure they have adequate drainage holes and use a premium potting mix that offers good aeration.
