ORIENTAL FOUNTAIN GRASS
Green, arching foliage produces rose-purple blooms beginning in August and continuing until frost. Karley Rose is a fast grower and is hardier than most other oriental fountain grass. It has an upright form and is drought tolerant once it is established.

To help Pennisetum settle in and thrive, we recommend these standard planting practices: Plant in full sun in average, well-draining soil. This variety is a hardy, reliable perennial that will return year after year in our region. It is prized for its graceful, arching foliage and soft, bottlebrush-like plumes that provide significant textural interest from summer into autumn. It performs best with consistent moisture and excellent drainage. Cut the foliage back to the ground in late winter or early spring to encourage fresh growth for the new season.
