Zone: 3LILY LOOKS™ TINY HOPE ASIATIC LILY
Lilium asiatic 'Tiny Hope' is a vibrant, dwarf Asiatic lily prized for its fiery color and compact form, making it a perfect choice for small garden spaces, rock gardens, and container planting. As part of the Lily Looks™' series, 'Tiny Hope' boasts a sturdy, upright growth habit, reaching a mature height of about 15 to 18 inches. In early to mid-summer, it produces large, striking, upward-facing blooms of glowing scarlet red that add an instant pop of brilliant color to any setting. Its compact size means it rarely requires staking, and it is a reliable, easy-to-grow perennial that is also known to be deer-resistant.
For best results, the 'Tiny Hope' lily should be planted in a location that receives full sun to partial sun, ideally where the flowers get at least six hours of direct sunlight daily while the roots are kept cool with mulch or companion plants. The lily thrives in well-drained, moist soil and will not tolerate standing water, which can lead to bulb rot. Water regularly, aiming for about 1–2 inches per week during the active growing season. After the flowers fade, simply deadhead the spent blooms, but do not cut back the stem and deep green foliage until they naturally turn yellow in the fall, as the plant needs this time to store energy in the bulb for next year's spectacular display.
