INVINCIBELLE WEE WHITE® HYDRANGEA

Hydrangea arborescens 'NCHA5' PP30296 Proven Winners® Color Choice® Invincibelle® Wee White® is commonly referred to as Invincibelle Wee White® Smooth Hydrangea. This Proven Winners® Color Choice® Invincibelle® selection features a unique dwarf 'Annabelle' type hydrangea! This compact variety has emerging blush pink flowers that turn pure white and are held on strong, sturdy stems. It blooms continuously from summer to fall.

Invincibelle Wee White® Hydrangea thrive in full to part sun in rich, fertile, evenly moist, well-drained soils. Deadheading is not necessary as it reblooms for months with fresh flowers. It is hardy down to Zone 3 and blooms on current season's growth (new wood). It benefits from cutting the stems back about one-third its total height each spring, just before the new growth emerges. New shoots will emerge and bloom the same summer.

Planting Tips

To help this plant settle in and thrive, we recommend these standard planting practices: Plant in well-draining, rich soil with a slightly acidic pH. Provide a location with partial to full sun; this variety performs best with at least 4 to 6 hours of direct light. Water regularly to maintain consistent soil moisture, especially during the first two growing seasons. Mulch around the base to retain moisture and suppress weeds. Prune back to 6 to 12 inches in late winter or early spring to encourage strong, upright stems and abundant flowers, as this plant blooms on "new wood".
