Hemerocallis 'Frosted Vintage Ruffles' features creamy yellow blooms with a pink blush and a darker pink ruffled edge. It is extremely fragrant, and its blooms are held on 24-inch scapes. It is a robust grower that reblooms well.
Daylilies are easy to grow, making them a low-maintenance favorite for gardeners. For the best performance, plant them in a spot that receives at least six hours of full sun each day, though they can tolerate partial shade, especially in hotter climates. While adaptable to most soils, they thrive in rich, well-draining soil amended with organic matter like compost. Water newly planted daylilies regularly to help them get established and aim to provide about one inch of water per week during active growth or dry spells to encourage robust blooming.
To keep your plant tidy and encourage continuous flowering, deadhead spent blooms daily and cut back the entire flower stalk (scape) once all buds have finished. Finally, if flowering diminishes, divide overcrowded clumps every few years, ideally in early spring or fall, to revitalize the plant's vigor.
