Unlike the more common golden varieties, 'Albostriata' features wider, forest-green blades elegantly streaked with crisp creamy-white stripes. Growing in a cascading mound about 15 to 18 inches tall and slightly wider, it offers a more upright and vigorous growth habit than its solid green or gold cousins. In the autumn, the white-and-green foliage often takes on a subtle, charming pink or coppery tint before going dormant for the winter.
Caring for 'Albostriata' is straightforward, provided it is tucked into a cool, sheltered spot in the garden. It thrives in partial shade, where its white variegation can brighten up dark corners without the risk of the leaf tips browning in intense sun.
