Echinacea x hybrida SOMBRERO® 'Granada Gold' is commonly referred to as Granada Gold Coneflower. It is a member of the Sombrero® series and features overlapping deep golden yellow flowers with a copper yellow cone. It is an early bloomer from summer to early fall. Stems are strong and sturdy, and leaves are very dark green and add a nice contrast to the beautiful flowers.
Coneflowers are an eye-catching and popular perennial for many reasons. They are easy to grow and are heat and drought tolerant. They flower all summer and attract all kinds of birds and pollinators. They typically thrive in full sun, but if your summers are hotter than Hades then they could use a bit more shade and water to prevent burning.
