Dianthus Whetman® Star Single® 'Noreen' PP2036 is commonly referred to as Peppermint Star Dianthus or Pinks. This selection is part of the Whetman® Star Single® series of Dianthus which has been bred by UK's leading breeder and propagator of award-winning perfumed Dianthus. It features single, deep pink fragrant flowers with red centers. Strong blooming begins in late spring and may continue if spent flowers are removed. Its glaucous blue evergreen foliage is compact, mounding and quite uniform.
Peppermint Star Dianthus thrives in full sun to partial shade in neutral to alkaline, evenly moist, well-draining soils. Ideal for beds, borders, cottage and rock gardens.
