HELLO YELLOW MILKWEED
Asclepias tuberosa 'Hello Yellow' is commonly referred to as Hello Yellow Swamp Milkweed. It is a herbaceous perennial that is noteworthy for its flat-topped clusters of bright yellow flowers that sit atop upright stems with narrow leaves. Flowers appear from June through frost. Seed pods follow flowers and are valued in dried flower arrangements. Flowers provide valuable nectar for many bees and butterflies and are a valuable food source for the Monarch Butterfly larvae.
Hello Yellow Swamp Milkweed thrives in full sun in moist soils. It is ideal for moist, sunny, naturalized areas.
