BLUE ICE BLUESTAR FLOWER
Amsonia x 'Blue Ice' is commonly referred to as Blue Ice Blue Star, Willow Amsonia 'Blue Ice' or Eastern Bluestar 'Blue Ice'. It is a compact, clump-forming perennial with a more compact habit than its native species. It features darker blue, star-shaped flowers in late spring or early summer and dark green willow-shaped leaves that turns yellow in fall.
Blue Ice Blue Star is deer resistant and thrives in full to partial sun in rich, loamy, moist, well-drained soils. It will not tolerate soggy soils.
