Agastache aurantiaco 'Tango' is commonly referred to as Tango Hyssop or Tango Hummingbird Mint. This compact, free-flowering, herbaceous perennial is perfect for smaller spaces. It features bright fiery red-orange flowers that attract bees, butterflies and hummingbirds. Both the foliage and flowers have a pleasant fragrance when touched. The aromatic foliage helps to deter deer and rabbits.
Tango Hyssop thrives in full sun in average, very well-drained soils. Good air circulation and drainage is key to ensure good plant health. Ideal for borders, perennial gardens and containers. It may self-seed if you avoid deadheading.
