GREEN JAPANESE MAPLE

The Viridis Japanese Maple is a dwarf, laceleaf Japanese Maple with delicate, ferny, green leaves that have a cascading/weeping, dome habit. The bright green foliage stays true to color through summer and turns golden-orange in fall.

The easy care Viridis is a slow growing specimen that thrives in filtered sun in moist, rich, slightly acidic, well-drained soil. Best leaf color is in partial shade.

Planting Tips

To help this plant settle in and thrive, we recommend these standard planting practices: Plant in well-draining soil with a slightly acidic pH. Water regularly, but avoid overwatering. Mulch around the base to retain moisture and suppress weeds. Prune in late winter or early spring to maintain shape and promote healthy growth.
