Zone: 3AMUR MAACKIA
Amur Maackia is a small, slow-growing, deciduous tree with a broad, compact, rounded habit. It features cleanly fragrant, white, pea-like flowers that form narrow clusters in late spring. Silvery green leaves emerge in spring, turning dark green in summer and later a coppery brown in fall. Unique and attractive mottled olive-green bark provide exceptional winter interest.
The Amur Maackia is a very hardy tree that is both durable and adaptable. It thrives in full sun in loose, average, well-drained soils.

To help this plant settle in and thrive, we recommend these standard planting practices: Plant in well-draining soil with a slightly acidic pH, and ensure the soil is consistently moist but not waterlogged. Mulch around the base to retain moisture and suppress weeds. Prune any dead or damaged branches in late winter or early spring.
