It is an exceptional dwarf shrub primarily grown for its stunning foliage that shifts from variegated shades of green, creamy yellow, and rosy pink in the spring and summer to fiery hues of red, orange, and gold in the autumn. Perfect for smaller gardens, containers, or as a low border plant, its compact, mounding form reaches just 12-18 inches tall and wide, requiring little to no pruning to maintain its neat shape. It produces delicate, trumpet-shaped, dark pink flowers in the spring that attract hummingbirds and butterflies, making it a beautiful and beneficial addition to any landscape.
Caring for Weigela My Monet® 'Sunset' is straightforward. It thrives in full sun, which is crucial for its vibrant, multi-colored foliage.
