INCREDIBALL® HYDRANGEA

Hydrangea arborescens 'Abetwo' PP20571 Proven Winners® Color Choice® Incrediball® is commonly referred to as Incrediball® Hydrangea. This Proven Winners® Color Choice® selection is an improved version of the classic 'Annabelle' Hydrangea. Extra-large white blooms appear midsummer and persist through frost turning to a lush green.

Incrediball® Hydrangea is easy to grow and thrives in full sun in rich, fertile, evenly moist, well-drained soils. It is hardy to Zone 3 and blooms on current season's growth (new wood). It benefits from cutting the stems back about one-third its total height each spring, just before the new growth emerges. New shoots will emerge and bloom the same summer.

Planting Tips ⓘ

To help this plant settle in and thrive, we recommend these standard planting practices: Plant in well-draining, rich soil with a slightly acidic pH. Provide a location with partial to full sun; this variety performs best with at least 4-6 hours of direct light. Water regularly to maintain consistent soil moisture, especially during the first two growing seasons. Mulch around the base to retain moisture and suppress weeds. Prune back to 6-12 inches in late winter or early spring to encourage strong, upright stems and abundant flowers, as this plant blooms on 'new wood.'
