ANNABELLE HYDRANGEA
Hydrangea arborescens 'Annabelle' is commonly referred to as Annabelle Hydrangea It is a mounding, deciduous ornamental shrub with showy large, white flowers that are held on strong, straight stems and last for many weeks. Deadheading promotes more blooms. It flowers on current season's growth (new wood) and it benefits from cutting the stems to the ground in late winter. New shoots will emerge and bloom the same summer.
Annabelle Hydrangea thrives in partial shade in rich, fertile, evenly moist, well-drained soils. It is ideal for borders, mass plantings and as a specimen.
