SLOWMOUND MUGO PINE

Pinus mugo 'Slowmound' is commonly referred to as the Slowmound Mugo Pine. This is a true dwarf mugo pine with a compact, mounded, cushion-shaped form. It is a rugged and hardy evergreen with dark green needles that hold their color throughout the year. It is a very slow-growing pine and is ideal for rock gardens and foundation plantings.

The Slowmound Mugo Pine enjoys full sun in very well-drained soils. It will not tolerate standing water. It can be drought tolerant once established. It is tolerant of urban pollution and can thrive in city environments.
