CALGARY CARPET® JUNIPER
Juniperus sabina 'Monna' is commonly referred to as Calgary Carpet® Juniper. It is a low, broadly spreading, feathery soft, evergreen groundcover with bright green scale-like sprays of foliage that keeps its lime green color throughout the year. In late spring it will produce blue berries.
Calgary Carpet® Juniper thrives in full sun in average, well-drained soils. It will not tolerate standing water. It can be drought tolerant once established. It will tolerate urban pollution and can thrive in city environments. It is ideal as a groundcover, mass planting or along sidewalks.
