TRICOLOR BEECH
Fagus sylvatica 'Tricolor' is commonly known as the Tricolor European Beech. The Tricolor is a low-branched specimen tree with smooth gray bark. It is noteworthy for its outstanding variegated foliage with purple, wavy leaves that have irregular creamy rose-pink colored margins. From a distance, the tree looks pink! Come fall the foliage turns a bronze color. It is a long-lived, beautiful tree that is a perfect specimen plant.
