CELESTIAL SHADOW® CHINESE DOGWOOD

The very unique Celestial Shadow Chinese Dogwood is a cross between the American Dogwood and the Asian Kousa Dogwood. It has bright yellow and green variegated leaves whose margins turn pink in the fall, maturing to bright red. In spring, abundant white flowers are produced. Fall brings a fantastic display of color in hues of pink, light red, and purple.

The Celestial Shadow is quite adaptable, but prefers moist, well-drained sites in full sun or partial shade.

Planting Tips

To help this plant settle in and thrive, we recommend these standard planting practices: Plant in well-draining soil with a slightly acidic pH. Water regularly, but avoid overwatering. Mulch around the base to retain moisture and suppress weeds. Fertilize annually with a balanced fertilizer.
