PETER COTTONTAIL YARROW
Achillea ptarmica 'Peter Cottontail' PPAF is commonly referred to as Peter Cottontail Yarrow or Peter Cottontail Sneezewort. This Proven Winners® selection features a unique look from what you would normally expect from a Yarrow. It may remind you of Baby's Breath with large clusters of ivory flowers that cover the low, mounding foliage. The clusters are more spaced out which provides its unique look and texture. It blooms from early summer to early fall and attracts bees, butterflies and other beneficial pollinators.
Peter Cottontail Yarrow is deer and rabbit resistant (I know... the name, right?) and thrives in full sun in average, well-drained soils. It makes a terrific border plant as well as for cut and dried flower bouquets.
