Nursery Yard Sales Specialist - Galena

Summary:
We are a vibrant, growing, team-oriented company working with a diverse range of landscape professions. The Nursery Yard Sales Specialist position plays an integral part in the success of Acorn Farms. The main focus of the position is to provide an exceptional experience for all customers. This will include, but is not limited to, coordinating with Front Sales Office to assist with plant pickup and general maintenance of nursery stock as needed which includes watering, pruning, arranging displays, etc.
Responsibilities:
- One-to-one contact and interaction with walk-in customers, providing an exceptional experience for them.
- Coordinate with Front Sales Office to assist with plant pickup
- Radio communications with sales staff in the yard and office to ensure pull orders and pick tickets are fulfilled properly
- General maintenance of nursery stock including watering, pruning, arranging displays, etc.
Skills:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (Required)
- Customer Service mentality with a proficiency for problem solving (Required)
- Basic knowledge of plants (Preferred)
- Ability to stand and work outdoors for long period of time (Preferred)
- Lifting may be required
Schedule:
This is a Full-Time position. Schedules will vary based on business and seasonal needs.
