THERMAL AND FULLNOSE TREADS

Elevate the look of patios, pools, and entryways with thermal treads from Nicolock. These smooth-surface step caps are designed for use with most Nicolock outdoor stone steps and paver systems. Each thermal tread adds a clean, finished appearance with a slight overhang and increases step height by 2 inches. For a softer edge profile, explore our fullnose treads, ideal for creating a rounded, comfortable finish on seating walls, stairways, and pool surrounds.

OPTIONS FOR
THERMAL AND FULLNOSE TREADS

Nicolock offers a premium selection of thermal treads to add both function and style to your outdoor space. Available in two distinct edge styles-flamed and fullnose-these treads are ideal for steps, pool decks, and entryways. Flamed thermal treads feature a straight, flat face that delivers a clean, contemporary finish. This style is perfect for modern hardscape designs where sharp lines and minimalism are key.

For a more traditional and safety-conscious option, fullnose treads offer a rounded front edge that not only softens the overall look but also provides added protection against sharp corners-especially beneficial in areas frequented by children or older adults. The smooth thermal finish enhances slip resistance while maintaining a high-end appearance. Keep in mind that the fullnose thermal tread is currently offered in a 14-inch depth, making it well-suited for stairways, seating walls, and pool coping applications where a polished edge detail is desired.

Whether you're finishing a set of stone steps or creating a cohesive transition between elevation changes, Nicolock's thermal treads and fullnose treads deliver both durability and design versatility for any outdoor project.

Each size and edge style of Nicolock's thermal treads is available in a range of natural color blends, including popular options like Gironde and Bluestone. Whether you choose flamed or fullnose treads, these rich tones help tie your stairs, landings, or pool surrounds seamlessly into the rest of your hardscape design.
