SONIC BLOOM® PURE PINK WEIGELA

Weigela florida 'SMNWFRP' PP29990 Proven Winners® Color Choice® Sonic Bloom® Pure Pink is a highly valued and low-maintenance shrub, celebrated for its unique and long-lasting floral display. Unlike traditional weigelas that offer a single burst of color in spring, this exceptional variety reblooms continuously, providing waves of beautiful, clear pink, trumpet-shaped flowers from late spring through the first frost. Its impressive flower show, which appears on both new and old wood, occurs without the need for deadheading.

Sonic Bloom® Pure Pink has an upright, slightly more compact habit than other Sonic Bloom® varieties, reaching 4-5 feet tall and wide, making it a versatile choice for a variety of landscape uses, including flowering hedges, mixed borders, and foundation plantings. With its glossy green foliage, deer-resistant nature, and strong appeal to hummingbirds and pollinators, Sonic Bloom® Pure Pink is an easy-to-grow and highly rewarding addition to any garden seeking consistent, vibrant color.

Planting Tips

To help this plant settle in and thrive, we recommend these standard planting practices: Plant in well-draining soil with full sun to partial shade. Water regularly but avoid overwatering. Mulch around the base to retain moisture and suppress weeds. Prune immediately after the main spring flush of flowers fades to maintain shape; avoid pruning in late winter or early spring, as this will remove the flower buds for the coming season.
